• Coordination effort between the locally operated transit systems of Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties together with the human service agencies.

• Transportation strategy established by Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland (TCC) emphasizing regional coordination and cooperation among these transportation providers.

• Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) along with oversight from TCC created the Regional Transportation Coordination Program (RTCP) and the Regional Transportation Coordination Committee (RTCC) to encourage regional coordination and cooperation among all Southern Maryland transportation providers interested in the quality of services provided to Southern Maryland citizens.

• RTCC members provide a forum for the senior and disabled community’s transportation needs.  RTCC, with assistance from Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland, facilitates this transportation need discussion with state and local providers.
